HUMAN GENIUSES VERSUS THE KNOWING ONES OF CHRIST.

I found myself thinking unusually DEEPLY about people who are described as geniuses because of their prodigious intellect. People like Albert Einstein and Steven Hawkins belong in this group. I therefore sought help from the internet to find out more about that phenomenon called IQ or Intelligence Quotient. Below are my findings.

“IQ stands for intelligence quotient. It is a numerical score from a standardized test that measures human cognitive abilities, including logic, memory, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning. An average score is set at 100, with most people scoring close to this baseline.

• Average score: 100 is the median score.

• Normal range: About 68% of people score between 85 and 115 (within one standard deviation).

• High scores: Scores above 130 often indicate giftedness.

• Low scores: Scores below 70 may indicate cognitive or learning challenges. 

What IQ Tests Measure

• Logical reasoning: Finding patterns and solving puzzles.

• Memory: Recalling short-term and long-term information.

• Processing speed: How fast you can complete mental tasks.

• Verbal comprehension: Understanding and using language.

My observation from all this is that the intellect really has nothing to do with wisdom, especially that aspect of wisdom that helps link you to the spiritual and supernatural. So, Professor Stephen Hawkins for instance was an atheist who didn’t find it possible to wrap his mind around the very concept of God, The Almighty Creator. He rather believed only in the tangible things of life. You remember the BIG BANG theory of how creation all started. To these kinds of people, the spiritual was folly and illogical. Very many other geniuses fall within this same class of super intelligent people who could not find a place in themselves to grasp spiritual understanding.

Sadly, for them mere common folks with simple hearts and very little or no formal education at all were far ahead of them in the area of spiritual knowledge and understanding. These common folks were later used by God to do impossible things. For instance Smith Wigglesworth and Marion Braham with little or no formal education were used by God to save, heal and deliver thousands of people for Jesus Christ. These are said to be the knowing ones because of their grasp of spiritual wisdom which far out strips intellectual knowledge that anchors the intellectual geniuses to this world of gross matter, depriving them of spiritual knowledge that would have enabled them to understand the very concept of God Almighty.

But quite a few geniuses are also knowing ones at the same time. Young Hoon Kim is a living genius with an IQ of 276, a level far above any other genius that ever walked this earth. In him we see a perfect blend of intellectual fire power and prodigious knowing in Kim. He has devoted himself to the study and interpretation of Bible prophecies. Kim is refreshingly different from the other breeds of super intelligent people who are dismissive of the very concept of God and spiritual understanding. He says that Jesus Christ will return in our generation. D.K. Olukoya is a genetic engineer, Pastors Adeboye and Kumuyi are first class researchers who taught in the university before declaring for Jesus Christ. So, those who use high intellectual capacity as excuse for spiritual indolence and unbelief merely delude themselves.

The poorest human being therefore is really the one who lacks spiritual knowledge and understanding.

The very best  of all knowledge is that which acknowledges God Almighty and life after life.

The intellect serves the purpose of helping to improve physical life here on earth inventing gadgets and philosophies and theories that sum up to advance and transform our earthly life. But without a thought for the hereafter we foolishly delude ourselves, and deprive ourselves of that exciting connection with our Almighty Father and his hosts of heaven. Without the spirit we merely hold ourselves to our own messy, dubious standards. The perfect orderliness of the whole of creation is a moving testament to the existence of God.
